Anthony Coury

Attorney Anthony Coury is third-generation Arizonan who grew up in the Phoenix area. He is a "Double Domer," graduating twice from the University of Notre Dame, first with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993 and then with a Juris Doctorate from Notre Dame Law School in 1997. Mr. Coury also obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.

Mr. Coury has practiced law in Phoenix for his entire legal career. He began as an associate attorney at Phoenix firm Snell & Wilmer where he practiced for two years. Most recently, Mr. Coury practiced as an associate attorney at Phoenix firm Gallagher & Kennedy. Over the years of his practice, Mr. Coury has worked on a variety of cases ranging from business disputes to wrongful death actions. Over the past five years, Mr. Coury has focused his practice primarily on personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits in which he has served as plaintiff?s counsel. He has experience in cases dealing with product liability, gross negligence, governmental claims and dram shop liability, to name a few. Mr. Coury has participated in over 100 plaintiff?s cases that have resulted in recoveries for clients exceeding $50 million.

Mr. Coury is an avid sports fan who zealously supports all of the Arizona teams (yes, including the Cardinals). As could be expected, he is a huge follower of Notre Dame football. When he is not watching football, Mr. Coury is coaching Pop Warner youth football (South Scottsdale Marlins; 2001 Undefeated Arizona State Champions). Mr. Coury also likes to think of himself as an "amateur chef" having come from a long line of unbelievable cooks. His specialties include homemade pizza, Italian bread, filet mignon enchiladas and the "50 Pound Lasagne."
