Mr. Abdo was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester in 1984 and his Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 1991. Mr. Abdo was an Assistant Attorney General for Arizona, where he gained invaluable experience dealing with numerous procurement and regulatory issues. He joined O'Connor, Cavenaugh, Anderson, Killingsworth & Beshears in 1997, and continued to expand his practice at Mariscal Weeks, where he was a partner until 2006.
Mr. Abdo's practice focuses on resolving commercial disputes of all types for individuals and businesses, with an emphasis on labor and employment, real estate and construction litigation. He has successfully represented clients in regulatory matters, complex commercial litigation, bid protests and private arbitrations. He has extensive experience both representing and dealing with government bodies, appearing before numerous state agencies in licensing, procurement and related matters. His practice also includes the formation of business entities and the counseling of small businesses, including the drafting and review of a wide variety of commercial documents.
